Spoony is widely regarded as one of the founding fathers of UK Garage. Individually and with The Dreem Teem they laid foundations for an amazing time for British music and culture.
He started Djing professionally in 1997, spinning all over the world including Miami, Dubai and South Africa. He has been engaged by blue chip companies Apple, Nike and Selfridges to name a few. He has also carved out a very successful broadcasting and entertainment career: from hosting the Weekend Breakfast show on Radio One, appearing on Strictly Come Dancing to winning a Mastermind special. His love of football was first heard on BBC Radio 5 Live and he can now be seen worldwide as a presenter on Premier League TV.
He is currently weekly resident at O Beach Ibiza, the Island’s hottest new venue.
As a music producers The Dreem Teem would have national chart success with ‘The Theme’ and their biggest hit, a collaboration with Neneh Cherry ‘Buddy X’.
He cites Prince, Michael Jackson, Qunicy Jones, Masters At Work, Timmi Magic and Mikee B as his biggest musical influences.
