Spoony is widely regarded as one of the founding fathers of UK Garage.
He started Djing professionally in 1997 and has worked all over the world including Miami, Dubai and South Africa and has worked for the blue chip companies Apple, Nike and Selfridges to name a few. He has also carved out a very successful broad- casting and entertainment career from hosting the Weekend Breakfast show on Radio One to winning a Mastermind special.
As a member of the Dreem Teem they would have national chart success with ‘The Theme’ and their biggest hit, a collaboration with Neneh Cherry ‘Buddy X’.
He cites Prince, Michael Jackson, Masters At Work, Timmi Magic and Mikee B as his biggest musical influences.
